Alexandre Basto, CEO and Founder of Golden Concerts, began his career in the show business industry at the age of 16, producing his first event featuring international artists in 1978.

Over the decades, he has built an extensive and distinguished career, producing and promoting concerts with hundreds of globally renowned artists, including Luciano Pavarotti, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Chico Buarque, Mike Oldfield, Boney M, Bryan Adams, Julio Iglesias, King Crimson, Charles Aznavour, Ravi Shankar, Nina Hagen, Roxy Music, The Wailers, Dionne Warwick, Chick Corea, Ramones, The Pretenders, Village People, Kool & the Gang, Bonnie Tyler, Roberto Carlos, Cesária Évora, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, among many others.

Expanding his activity internationally, Alexandre Basto has also co-produced major concerts in markets such as Spain, Brazil, and France, working alongside iconic artists including AC/DC, Madonna, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Eurythmics, and The Rolling Stones.
